Joomla 3.x. How to manage pricing tables

This tutorial shows how to manage pricing tables in Joomla templates.

Basically pricing table is created by using the Articles – Newsflash (Advanced) module.

1. Navigate to Extensions -> Modules and open the corresponding Articles – Newsflash (Advanced) module. Here you can find a category of articles assigned to this module.

   

2. Next, navigate to Content -> Articles and sort out articles of the corresponding category. Here you can mark article as featured, then it will have different color on frontend:

   

3. To keep the same article layout, navigate to System -> Global configuration -> Site Settings and set the Default Editor to Editor – None, then save changes.

   

4. Now go back to Content -> Articles, open the article in the required category and edit its content:

   

5. In order to add a new column to the pricing table, click the New button under the Content -> Articles and create a new article within the same category.

6. Next, navigate to Extensions -> Modules and open the corresponding Articles – Newsflash (Advanced) module, increase the number of columns and articles in the Number of Articles and Columns fields

7. Save changes. Check the site frontend to see the new column added.
